First Day of Kindergarten

To Hannah on your first day of school
September 8, 2009

It seemed like only yesterday and that we dreamed of you, hoped for you. You are our little miracle, our answer to prayer. We can't believe this is your first day of kindergarten, today as you got on the bus, mommy & daddy thought of you, what makes you YOU! You are hugs and tickles, butterfly & Eskimo kisses, giggles and curls - crazy hair in the morning! You are snuggle buggles and too squishy all at the same time. Rock Star poses, singing, horses, countdowns, never wanting to miss anything, never ending questions, never tired - only blinking! Chicken nuggets and "can I have some dessert?" You are caring, sweet spirited, spirited attitude, love more than anything. Our little girl, our princess pie, our bitsy. We love you with all our hearts. Have a wonderful first day of school.

Happy Birthday Hannah

Hannah turned 5 years old today. I truly can't believe it. She burst into our room this morning saying, "Mom, Dad -there is a 5 year old in the house!!". Where does time go. Happy Birthday my sweet girl!

ACS Relay, Happy Birthday Dad!

On Saturday, June 6th we participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. We had a team "Honoring Steve Roberts" that raised $7,400! It was a great family experience and a neat way for us to celebrate Dad's birthday which is on June 8th. We love you and Miss you Dad!

My little girl Graduated Preschool

Hannah graduated from Preschool today! I can't believe it! She has been going to London Bridge Baptist Preschool since she was 2 1/2. She goes to Kindergarten this fall! Where does the time go?

NYC

We got a chance to go to New York to visit Chris' sister Kim. We had a great time and got to celebrate our anniversary too!

Egg Hatching!

3 out of the 5 eggs hatched this morning! Hannah has been so excited!

Happy Earth Day and Happy Spring

Happy Earth Day and Happy Spring. Today as I was watering my plants that hang on my front porch a bird flew out of one of them. We took the plant down and we have a sweet little chipping sparrow’s nest with 5 little eggs. the incubation period is only 10-15 days so we should soon have some little baby birds! We grabbed my camera and took some pictures - do you see the little head of the momma bird peeking up from the plant? So cute. Happy Spring!
