Happy Earth Day

We have a bird's nest in the umbrella over our table on our deck! These 4 beautiful blue eggs were laid by a red Breasted American Robin.

We planted all our veggies & herbs today. We are hoping to grow: Tomatoes, Green Peppers, Cucumbers, Yellow Squash, Chives, rosemary, basil, parsley, cilantro, and Thyme!

New Dogs

We have added to our family. We have adopted 2 silky terriers - both 4 years old, a male & female. They are Jiminy (Cricket when you wish upon a star) and Ariel (the little mermaid). Nope - didn't name them but Hannah loves it:)

Welcome Rebekah Lynn

I'm an Aunt again! Baby number 5 for Samara & Brian is Rebekah Lynn! Born February 17th. We are so glad you are here!

Congratulations Shanna & Jason

My little sister, Shanna got engaged to Jason on Friday, February 19th. We got to be a part of the celebration immediately following the proposal! Jason, thanks for letting us be part of your special day. We are looking forward to you marrying our sister!

A year ago today we lost Chris' dad. We treasure our memories everyday and remember all the wonderful things he taught us, how his smile lit up the room and the difference he made on this earth. We love you & miss you dad!


Today Hannah remembers Starbuck's frapps with Grandpa - especially on the way to Trader Joe's; Grandpa's crackers & cheese at the counter after work; pizza at ynot; the way he always greeted her at the door with a big smile; and how much he loved her. I miss you Grandpa - Hannah
